Description
The Spectra Bladder Pump Micro is the industry’s narrowest bladder pump, purpose-built for groundwater
sampling in piezometers and small-diameter monitoring wells where standard pumps simply won’t fit.
With an outer diameter of just 0.47″ (12mm) and a compact 29 cm length, it delivers the same low-disturbance,
non-contact sampling technology trusted by environmental professionals, scaled down for the tightest well
installations.
Because the pump uses a flexible internal bladder rather than direct pneumatic contact with
the sample, groundwater is never exposed to compressed air, preserving sample integrity for VOC, PFAS,
and other sensitive-parameter analyses.
The Micro is ideal for environmental consultants, hydrogeologists, and remediation teams working on sites with narrow-bore monitoring wells, nested well clusters, or space-constrained installations. Pair it with a Spectra Hydro Pro Controller for a complete, field-ready low-flow sampling system that meets EPA low-flow purging and sampling protocols.
Rugged, easy to deploy, and engineered for repeatable accuracy, the Bladder Pump Micro extends
professional-grade groundwater sampling to wells that were previously inaccessible to bladder pump
technology.
