Description
Our disposable polyethylene bailers are constructed using 100% pure virgin polyethylene and now feature our recently developed “weld-less” design, which provides a much more durable and reliable construction when compared to others. Aqua Bailers’ strict part and production requirements along with quality control throughout the production process has virtually eliminated any leakage when sampling in the field. Additionally, the large open-top design allows nearly an inch of open space for an easy tie-on as well quick draining when purging. Additionally, our polyethylene bailers have a thick, rigid construction and will not warp or collapse during sampling. By utilizing a ball-stop, we can keep the ball in close proximity to the nozzle, rapidly sealing your sample and does not impede draining. A double-check valve option (also known as a “point-source sampler”) is available that allows sampling at a specific depth by utilizing a check valve at both the top and bottom of the bailer.
- When you use one of our bailers, you will see the result of a rigorous quality control program and the dedication of a quality-driven staff.
- Our strict part requirements and weld-less design have virtually eliminated leaking. We spare no expense and are always innovating to save you valuable time and effort in the field.

Outside Diameter: 1.6″ (40.64mm)
Length: 12″ – 72″
Case Size: 24 (12″ – 48″) and 20 (60″ – 72″) Bailers
Materials
Polyethylene (HDPE) is recommended when sampling groundwater for metals, and is perfect for most applications.
Check Valves
Single check groundwater bailers have only one check valve at the bottom to retain the sample during retrieval.
Double check groundwater bailers have an additional check valve at the top to eliminate sample contamination during retrieval when sampling at a specific depth (point source sampling.)
Weights
The weights are used to facilitate a more rapid sink rate to decrease overall time required to collect a groundwater sample.
